About - SINCE 2010
The Westwood Chile Fest is a one-day event in the Westwood neighborhood that celebrates Hispanic-centric cultures, making up 80% of this Denver neighborhood, with a strong focus on authentic food and the arts.
Free and open to the public, this celebratory event takes place along the Morrison Road Corridor, an area rich with makers, entrepreneurs, and artisans. The Westwood Chile Fest is an event that brings diverse communities together with local food, art, music, and dance.
With views of downtown and the Rocky Mountains on Morrison Road, it is no surprise that this event has become a unique community celebration in Denver and a Westwood favorite.

Westwood Chile Fest is produced by BuCu West Development Association and benefits the businesses, organizations, and neighborhood participants by collectively marketing and demonstrating a collaborative effort in celebrating culture, a walkable built environment, and community gathering space. The Westwood neighborhood has built momentum over the years in advocating for a linear marketplace along Morrison Road that celebrates culture, local businesses and is pedestrian-friendly. By closing Morrison Road to vehicles and combining a uniquely Westwood mix of vendors and entertainers all of Denver can share in this local vision.

celebrating 'creatives & community"
The neighborhood of Westwood, and particularly the Morrison Corridor, has a copious collective of "creatives" - entrepreneurs, artists, chefs, and bakers, stylists, and mechanics that pride themselves on their craftsmanship and services.
Westwood Chile Fest brings people together to explore everything that this vibrant community has to offer.

The Westwood Chile Fest puts a big emphasis on food and drink, particularly the spicy, authentic flavors from various Hispanic cultures. Alongside our classic chile roasting booth, every year we bring in some of the best food trucks in town to our event in order to provide a variety of delicious options for all our guests.
In addition to our food trucks, we have a Farmers Market courtesy of Re:Vision, a local non-profit in the Westwood neighborhood, working to bring better and healthier food selections to this area of southwest Denver.
